Betsy Danieslon

Betsy is currently serving as a Circuit Court Judge in the 15th Judicial District. Betsy’s background includes having been an Administrative Law Judge for 18 years and a Judge on the Arkansas Court of Appeals for district 4. She has been an active member of the Arkansas Bar Association where she co-chaired the Committee for a Modern Judiciary, was a member of its Jurisprudence and Law Reform Committee, and a member of its House of Delegates and Board of Governors. Betsy is also a past president of Western Arkansas Legal Services, a private non-profit corporation which provides free legal services in non-criminal matters to low-income clients. Betsy is a Fellow of the Arkansas Bar Foundation. On May 20, 2008 Betsy was elected to the position of District Judge and will be sworn in to that position on January 1, 2009.

Betsy is from the well known Williams family of legal professionals which include the highly respected former Federal Judge Paul X Williams, who was also from Booneville.
